Sad Story : How Long After I Die Will You Marry Again? A Wife’s Final Question To Her Husband

This is the story of a wife who made a clever plan to protect her love, even after her death.

A woman, knowing she was very sick and might not live long, asked her husband a question one day. She said, "Well, how long after I die will you marry again?

The husband, wanting to comfort her, smiled and said, "Not until your grave is completely dry." His words made her feel better, but little did he know she had a plan in mind.

After the wife passed away, the husband visited her grave every day to show his love and respect. But something strange was happening—the soil on her grave stayed wet, no matter how much time passed.

Weeks went by, and the husband started to wonder, "Why is her grave still wet? Shouldn’t it have dried by now?"

One day, while visiting the grave, the husband saw his brother-in-law walking away with an empty bucket. Curious, he stopped him and asked, "What are you doing with that bucket?

The brother-in-law replied, "Before my sister died, she asked me to pour water on her grave every day. She said it would bring her peace.

The husband was shocked. He realized this was his wife’s clever way of ensuring he wouldn’t marry anyone else. By keeping the soil wet, she made sure her grave would never dry—and her husband would keep his promise.
