Paul Murage Njuki Sentenced to 40 Years for Brutally Killing His Wife and Four Children

Paul Murage Njuki, a man from Kirinyaga County, Kenya, has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for killing his wife and four children on November 28, 2021. The children were aged between 1 and 13 years. It was reported that Njuki used an axe to commit the brutal crime.

On that night, Njuki attacked his family at their home. Shockingly, investigations revealed that he defiled one of his daughters before killing her.

Njuki reportedly planned the killings after a disagreement with his wife. However, the exact reason behind his actions remains unclear.

After a long trial, the court sentenced Njuki to 40 years in prison. The judge called his actions “inhuman and cruel.” Although some people felt the sentence was not harsh enough, the court considered Njuki’s cooperation during investigations.
