Nigerian singer Tems, famous for her soulful voice, has revealed why she is still a virgin at 28. In an honest conversation, she explained her views on dating and why it has been hard to find the right man.
"When people talk about relationships these days, all they think about is sex. For me, it's not like that. We need to date for about a year before doing anything. I want to be sure I really want you," she said.
Tems shared that most of the men she dated could not wait longer than three months before asking for sex, which made her end the relationship. "It’s hard to find a man who behaves the way I want," she admitted.
Focusing more on her music, Tems realized that many men she liked only wanted sex and nothing more. "When I see that we don’t match, I end it right away," she explained, referring to the quick heartbreak known as "instant breakfast" in Nigeria.
