People on social media were shocked and angry when they saw the video. Many questioned how someone could stand by and watch another person in danger without helping. There are growing calls for better laws to protect domestic workers and hold employers responsible.

This situation also highlights problems with the "kafala" system. This system ties workers to their employers, making it easier for abuse to happen. Many believe this system should be changed to protect workers better.
