Nigerian Pastor Challenges Portable for Slapping an Evangelist That come to preach for him bar.

A Nigerian pastor has called out popular singer Portable for allegedly slapping an evangelist who went to preach at his bar. The pastor, angry about the situation, asked if Portable would have done the same to a traditional religious leader, like an Alfa or Babalawo.

Portable is famous for his wild actions, and this time, he is in the news for allegedly slapping a Christian evangelist. The preacher had gone to Portable’s bar to share the message of Christ, but instead of ignoring or listening to him, Portable allegedly reacted with violence.

The pastor, speaking to his church members, boldly challenged Portable. He said, “Can he slap an Alfa or Babalawo like that? If he is brave enough, let him come to our church street. If he doesn’t leave naked, then God didn’t call me."

In Nigeria, religion is a very important part of life. Disrespecting religious leaders, whether Christian, Muslim, or traditional, is seen as a serious offense. The pastor’s challenge shows his anger and the belief that such actions should not go without punishment.

This event also raises bigger questions. Should someone like Portable, who is free to run his business, attack someone just for practicing their faith? Many people believe it’s wrong.

The pastor’s words might sound strong, but they also remind us of the need for respect. Nigeria is a country with different religions and beliefs. People should be able to practice their faith without fear.

Both the evangelist and Portable represent different sides of society—faith and entertainment. Even though they are different, there should be respect between them.

The pastor’s challenge has caught many people’s attention, but the bigger lesson is clear: We need more respect and peace in our communities. Violence is not the answer, whether it’s towards a preacher, a traditional leader, or anyone else.

Let’s use this situation as a chance to talk about living together peacefully and respecting everyone’s beliefs.
