MISTAKEN IDENTITY: Vigilante Shot 12 student to death after mistaken them for Cattle Smugglers

A heartbreaking event took place on the night of August 23 when a group of cow vigilantes mistakenly targeted a Class 12 student and his friends, thinking they were cattle smugglers. What began as a regular drive for the students ended in a tragedy, leaving one young student dead. This event shows how dangerous it can be when people act on wrong information and take the law into their own hands.

The police have identified five men involved in this crime: Saurabh, Anil Kaushik, Varun, Krishna, and Adesh. These men, acting as cow vigilantes, had received information about possible cattle smugglers driving two SUVs in the area. Without confirming the details, they decided to chase the suspects, which ended up being the wrong people.

Aryan Mishra, a young student, was in a car with his friends Shanky and Harshit on that unfortunate night. The group of vigilantes thought they were the cattle smugglers they were looking for. They followed Aryan’s car for about 30 kilometers, from the city to the Gadhpuri toll on the Delhi-Agra highway.

Things got worse when the cow vigilantes asked Aryan’s car to stop. Instead of stopping, the driver, likely scared or confused, sped up. This led the vigilantes to open fire. Sadly, Aryan Mishra was hit by the bullets and died from his injuries near Palwal.

During the police interrogation, the accused said they believed they were chasing cattle smugglers. Unfortunately, they were wrong, and their actions resulted in the death of an innocent student. This incident highlights how dangerous it can be to act on incorrect information.

The death of Aryan has shocked the community and raised serious concerns about the actions of cow vigilantes. While protecting animals is important, violence is never the answer. This tragic event shows how rash decisions and taking the law into one’s own hands can lead to terrible outcomes.

Aryan Mishra’s death is a tragic reminder of what can happen when people act without thinking. Misinformation and violence can cause harm that can never be undone. It is important to leave law enforcement to handle these situations. This tragedy has taken a promising young life, and we should learn from it to prevent future mistakes.

Our thoughts are with Aryan’s family during this difficult time. This sad event reminds us to be careful, avoid rash actions, and ensure that the proper authorities handle these matters.
