JUST IN : A Young Lady caught stealing fowl in Cross River Publicly paraded.

In a small community in Cross River, Nigeria, a young girl was recently caught red-handed, stealing  fowl from a local poultry farm. This incident has sparked conversations across the area, especially since it involves someone from a neighboring community.

For some time now, chickens had been mysteriously disappearing from a particular poultry farm in the community. The owner of the farm, who had been noticing the dwindling number of his chickens, was deeply concerned. Despite being a small-scale farmer, he relied on his poultry for his livelihood, and the continuous loss was hurting his business. The thief, however, remained a mystery.

Determined to put an end to these thefts, the farm owner decided to take matters into his own hands. He began sleeping in the farm at night, hoping to catch the culprit in the act. It wasn’t long before his patience paid off.

Late one night, the young girl from the neighboring community sneaked into the farm as usual, thinking it would be another successful theft. But this time, the owner was ready. He caught her red-handed, The shock and fear on her face were undeniable as she realized she had been caught.

In many Nigerian communities, stealing is seen as a serious offense, and often, when thieves are caught, they are paraded around the community as a form of public shaming. This was exactly what happened to the young girl. The community, angry and disappointed, gathered to witness the girl being paraded with the stolen fowl tied around her neck.

As she was led through the streets, she was met with harsh words and scornful looks from the villagers. The once quiet and reserved girl was now the subject of public disgrace. Many who knew her couldn’t believe that she had resorted to stealing.
