JUST IN: Court Documents Reveal P-Diddy Paid $1 Million To have Tupac Killed in 1996

New court documents reveal that U.S. rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs allegedly paid $1 million to have Tupac Shakur killed in 1996.

Duane "Keefe D" Davis, a key suspect in Tupac's murder investigation, made this claim. Keefe D, arrested last year in connection with the case, said Diddy paid for the assassination on September 7, 1996. This information was found in court documents obtained by the U.S. Sun.

The documents, filed on July 18, highlight the long-standing feud between Diddy, also known as Puff Daddy and P Diddy, and Tupac. This deadly rivalry between Diddy's Bad Boy Records on the East Coast and Tupac's Death Row Records, led by Marion "Suge" Knight on the West Coast, was well-known in the hip-hop world.

Keefe D's statement in the court records said that Diddy paid another gangster, Eric Von Martin, to carry out the hit on Tupac. After the assassination, Diddy reportedly contacted Keefe D to confirm if his associates were responsible. “Sean Combs reaches out to Defendant wondering if South Side Crips were responsible for Shakur’s death by asking, ‘Is that us?’,” the court records revealed. Keefe D, proud of their actions, responded with "Yes."

Keefe D provided this information believing he had immunity from prosecution, but this assumption has backfired and may now lead to his conviction. The court documents further detailed the conspiracy to commit the murder, involving Diddy, Eric "Zip" Martin, and Keefe D.

In a confession to LA police detectives, Keefe D recounted how his nephew, Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, was the one who ultimately "popped the dude (Tupac)," describing in detail how his nephew executed the drive-by shooting.

This new development sheds light on one of the most infamous unsolved mysteries in the music world, reigniting interest and speculation about the events that led to Tupac's tragic death.
