One matchbox, a cover file, and a file belt
Shovel, wheelbarrow, and rake
Big generator
Four wrappers for the mother
One goat
Six bags of rice
Ten tubers of yam
One bottle of hot drink
Thirty liters of palm oil
Four gallons of kerosene
One jar of wine
Marriage Proper:

Family Items:

One bottle of schnapps, one bottle of akakai, and ₦5,000 for the family table
One big she-goat
₦20,000 for breaking the kola nut
Knife and saucer of food

Other Gifts:

Bunches of plantains, large native eggs, alligator pepper, and bitter kola

Special Gifts for Family Members:

Mother:

Traditional clothing (wrapper and blouse)
Pair of slippers
Father:
Chieftaincy attire and two pieces of wax

For the Younger Boys and Girls:
Boys: Adidas football, biscuits, Fanta, and Coke
